Exploring Delaware County’s Future Trail Connection in Tinicum Township

KlineRentNride

Today we visited the new trail segment along Tinicum Island Road in Tinicum Township, Delaware County. What may look like a simple local path today is actually part of a much bigger vision for the future of regional connectivity.

This trail is planned to become an important connector between John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge and the East Coast Greenway route. Over time, it has the potential to help link the Schuylkill River Trail through Southwest Philadelphia, continue through Delaware County, and extend into the State of Delaware.

Projects like this create more than recreation opportunities. They improve safe transportation options, connect communities, support local businesses, encourage healthy lifestyles, and expand access to nature.

At KlineRentNride, we believe trails are infrastructure. Every new mile helps create a stronger, more connected region for riders, walkers, and families alike.

Your support is needed to keep projects like this moving forward. Stay engaged, support local trail initiatives, and help build the future of active transportation in our region.
